ABOUT CREATION

CREATION is an artwork in the form of a “queer, insurrectionary science fiction, climate change religion” by artist Deborah Kelly. A multi-pronged exhibition manifesting across visual art, crowd-sourced wisdom, dance moves, animation, gatherings and song Deborah Kelly brings ceremonial, communal climate action to life with regalia, chanting, banners, movement and (ir)reverence.

Previous presentations of CREATION have been shown at Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney NSW, Lismore Regional Gallery, NSW, Griffith University Art Museum, Brisbane QLD, and will continue on from The Lock-Up to Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery, VIC, Horsham Regional Art Gallery, VIC, and Bathurst Regional Art Gallery NSW.
