Artist Bio
Working as a printmaker and textile artist I primarily create etchings and linocuts, but also dry points, silk screen prints and collagraphs. A life-time love of textiles and interest in the ‘genderisation’ of embroidery are strong influences and are incorporated into my practice through eco dyeing, hand stitching and printing fabric.
My Printmaking and textile works are informed by multiple themes; the environment and in particular water, the domestic and popular media together with images or items from my own personal history – an event, a person or place.
