Artist Bio

With a background in dance, visual art, music, theatre acting and film, Marigold Pazar is a multidisciplinary artist with her focus primarily on acting and creating work for stage and screen. For the past 11 years Marigold has predominately focused on training and gaining experience as an actor. Inspired and highly motivated to collaborate with other artists and create work for herself in Newcastle, she has recently taken to directing and producing. In 2020 she completed two short films, Angyalka and Exodus: The Endless Valley. Both of which she directed and produced, and which are currently doing the film festival circuits, the latter recently winning Best Drama in The Film Festival of Time. In 2021 her theatre credits include playing Kay Mostyn in Agatha Christie's Murder on the Nile (Newcastle Theatre Company), co-producing and playing Abigail Williams in The Crucible (Prospero Players), and has established a new production company, Her Productions, with co-founder Charlotte De Wit, set to debut their first show, Chekhov's Uncle Vanya, in September.
