Artist Bio
Zackari has been writing music since age 8. At age 19 a band in which he was a primary songwriter enjoyed some success when they won the very first round JJJ Unearthed in his hometown & were urged to move to Melbourne where they recorded at ABC studios & played numerous festivals over the coming years. This established Zackari as a career musician & songwriter & he continued to play & perform music as his primary career for the next several decades. In 2010 he was asked to compose a musical score for Tantrum Theatre's production of Blackrock. Since then he has worked as a professional composer on over 20 projects including dance works, theatre & film, working for companies such as Catapult Dance Choreographic Hub, Legs on the Wall, Tantrum Theatre & numerous film projects including the award winning Exodus: The Hidden Valley. His composing work has been nominated for several awards.
